Great Posting
That brings up interesting questions.

Bush may or may not have a point.  The deeper issue here is what can we do about the poverty and our sometimes rampant misunderstanding of different cultures that leads to anti-US sentiment?  I find terrorism abhorrent, but the tiny minorities out there willing to do that usually have a wide base of support.  They don't attack us because they 'hate our freedom', in other words.

Interesting, timely post.  Thank you!      --Shawn, "Tall & Skinny Politico"

I think I see, now

Keller said not everyone encouraged him not to run the story, which baffled Snow and congressional Republicans.  Then we learn that Jack Murtha was one of those who talked to Keller about running the story.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that Murtha told him to go ahead and run it.  He's been stabbing our troops and our nation in the back for the last few months, particularly accusing Marines of cold-blooded murder before the investigation of Haditha was even completed.

MandaLee,
I haven't agreed on much with your president lately (not that he would care, after all, I ain't a voter,  ) but I do agree with him on this one!
