IMO the killing of Al-Zarqawi was important but in the long run it won't
mean a thing as new members fill in the voids and violence continues. Terrorism wasn't born in on 9/11 nor did it originate in Iraq. With now over three years in Iraq and a botched invasion we have help create a terrorist monster playground compounded by the violence of the Sunnis and the Shiites. The U.S. at this time is not fighting terrorism in Iraq, we are babysitting the Iraqis, as our young troops are killed everyday and the Iraqis cheer, it is sickening.
