I have one mantra in life: I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees. I believe I LIVE on my feet.
This is a very post with very good information. Another book I recommend in which I can't think of the author is "The Courage To Heal" there is a version for men and women. This book will require MUCH hard work but the end result is invaluable.
In the end, know that you are not at fault and know that your abuse does not have to be your identity. The best revenge LIVING well. Not in terms of money but in terms of love, happiness and taking life by the tail and going for it. You lived through hell, not kick fear in the butt and walk through it!
