No, I wasn't referring to Blogit being a backup for my writing. I was referring to the draft feature gmail has... when you pause for a second in typing your e-mail, it automatically saves a draft in case you were to lose your internet connection, crash or have some other catastrophe. It's a really great feature that has saved several e-mails for me.
The last time I used CTRL Z, I had been cutting and pasting and realized I had cut the wrong thing. I hit CTRL Z to undo and my entire post disappeared. Something similar happened before, but I don't remember the exact details. Next time I will try the redo button. Hadn't seen it. Thanks.

Thank you for the request for a draft feature. In the meantime, you may wish to consider writing your blog entries in Word or your email program and then using the copy and paste function to post your entry. This way you will always have a backup on your computer in case there's a problem posting your entry.
Please note that while Blogit has made significant investments to provide an extremely reliable hosting service for your writing, it should not be considered a backup for all your writing.
Could you please provide more information on the situation where all your writing disappears.
Are you referring to the situation where you type some text -- without clicking around to make edits -- and then type ctrl-Z. In that case, everything you'd typed would disappear (but that happens in Word too).
In that case, please try clicking on the Redo button or type Ctrl-Y (as in Word). That should return things to the way they were before you typed the ctrl-Z. Please let us know if that does not work for you in particular so we can look into this.
Thank you.
