Language, Xenox, language!

Beyond that, keep serving up those hanging curveballs for me to sock out of the park:

Since you’re going to throw the kids into this, may I then assume that you are comfortable with your grandchildren living in fear of terrorism?

And if the war is ruining the economy, why does the economy continue to be strong after four years of the war on terror?

Undoubtedly that is what Uncle Ken meant. But the similarity in phrasing is striking, no? As for any impact speediness of response would have had, I take you back to the fact that no servicepeople captured by the terrorists have been returned alive.

Re military briefings: Wonderful response to what you disagree with. Don’t refute it, don’t research it, don’t offer any kind of intelligent response at all, just follow your own brainwashing that everything you hear is false even though you in all likelihood have no first-hand access to evidence to back up your prejudices.

know what i'M NAUSEATED ABOUT?
or do you have to guess

it's a president lying to us in the first place about the reasons to go in -- the continuing to lie to us all along the way -- except for saying it's going to be along war.

yes it is -- but of course you seem to want your great grandchildren fighting and dying in this war that will also ruin the economy of the U.S.

baqck to the comment

could it be that this uncle is talking about -- not an overall plan -- withdrawal or operations plan -- but a plan for rescuing captives?  -- that the slowness of response could very have been responsible for their dying.

historically our government and military don't give a flying fuck what happens to the young men and women who fight and get maimed and die for this country.,  same it seems in this instance

i watch the generals at press conferences and listen to their words and i just about puke -- so much deception and utter disregard for the grunt on the front lines so to speak -- just line after line of propaganda  -- but of course they've been trained in such.

go ahead and support whatever -- you among others will be responsible for the downfall of the United States of America.

Exploitation of grief
I agree wholeheartedly with you on this.  It's a disgrace.  We would never have prevailed in ww2 with mass media like this.
