Thanks
Now I understand why I couldn't find it and I don't feel quite so stupid. Bummed I can't add the calendar, but I'll live.

We found that many readers found the calendar confusing and had trouble understanding how to use it, so we replaced it with page numbers at the bottom of the blog page.
As a result, the calendar is no longer offered as an option on Basic and Silver plans. You may add it manually with a Blogit Gold subscription (to change your subscription plan, please go to My Account and click "Change subscription plan"):
* Click "Write" (in the top-right corner)
* Click "Edit" next to your blog's name
* Click "Change template"
* Click the "Edit advanced template set" link
* You will see a text box with a lot of text. Scroll down to the bottom to the last place where this text appears:
<div class="sidebar">
* Click after this text and type or paste the following code:
<xsl:value-of select="extender:renderCalendar()" disable-output-escaping="yes" />
Thank you.
