We apologize for any confusion. As we clarify in several places including the Help page on subscription plans located here, a Blogit Basic subscription plan is "$9.95/month (if purchased as a 12-month subscription) or $12.95 per month".
That is, if you pay for the whole 12 months upfront, that is make an annual payment of $119.40, your cost comes to $9.95/month.
You don't need to be Canadian!
