Hell Fire
You say. "If indeed God is all-powerful". It's a sort of doubt St. Augustine used to pray, "I believe, I absolutelt believe.  But God do take care of my Unbelief. " Then, do you really believe? And yes, please do not be overburdened with the thought of Hell. If you take out the negative, then what remains will be only Heaven. What do you think?

The truth about Hell
Hell is actually the "Grave".  Christians misapply the parables that Jesus used.   Parables are fictionalized stories used to teach a greater truth.  It pains me that Most Christians don't accept that.  Hell is just simply the grave or a state of death.  The fire people refer to is the Lake of Fire.  It is not endless because a lake as boundaries.  Otherwise it would be a sea or ocean.  The Fire is God.  All things from this world must be purged with fire.  That is why the ancients offered God burnt sacrifices.  That is the Human Body needs cooked meat instead of raw meat.  In the Scriptures Jesus referred to Baptism as a symbol of life and death and into the New Spiritual one.  You are above the water symbolically flesh and death and then you submerge beneath it (death) and then you come up from the water into the atmosphere, which is heated water and represents flesh that has the Fire or heat of God applied to it.   Whatever is not burned up comes back to shore.  The water that is left on the body evaporates as sin evaporates in the Lake of Fire.  The Lake of Fire should be better translated into "The Lake of God's Burning Spirit".

Dante's Inferno and Hell

I have been working on a short story here on Blogit that is based on Dante's Inferno.  I have not worked on it in awhile, but I think I almost finished.  LOL  It grew into about 15 parts that I wrote over the course of a month.  Then I became depressed and stopped.  One of these days I really should wrap it up, though.  I just need one or two more parts.

Anyway, here is part 1 of anyone who is interested.  The rest can be found in my Aliduke's Tower site.

One has to believe in Hell to actually experience Hell, or avoid it

I think that our beliefs have a huge impact on our reality, even after death. Therefore, if you believe in Hell, God will help you get there.

I don't believe in Hell myself, so when I die my spirit is going straight back to my Creator, my source!

That's one thing about the scriptures...

they are left open to interpretation and everyone has their own take!

Christians are especially adamant that they are right and everyone else is wrong!

You're right about finding out after death! No other way to do it! I think that's why the movie "Flatliners" always intrigued me so! What if!
