Oh no, you're not the only one!
The attitude towards men in Britian ( from which I fled in disgust sex years ago ) is comaparable to that of the Nazis to the Jews. And I say that advisedly.
Male and female public lavatories are plastered with revolting, blatantly sexist propaganda couched in the language of the gutter ; such as the one that tells men not to worry, 'cos the cops know that they're wife beaters, and they're going to catch up with them soon.
A typical example of this anti-male hatred is a poster used in a campaign against chlamydia. It depicts a jeans clad male crotch, with the legend ...
" CHLAMYDIA! Now available in easy to open packets!"
As if chalmydia is nothing whatever to do with women's sexuality, whereas to any reasoning, unbiased person, it would be obvious that the more sexual partners a woman has, the more risk she runs of contracting chlamydia.
I posted a piece about this very subject last year, and I might well post it again,. I'll let you know if I do
