LOL Blanche!! I'll be right over.
I know I haven't been around much lately. I've been really busy. In fact, we're moving into our new house today. We've been slowly moving stuff over there but the big major stuff goes today. I won't have internet for again til tomorrow. Are the crows calling you names again? Geez.

Are you still lost in Vancouver, Spitfire? You haven't popped up for days
There are these crows out on my balcony, I need you to talk to them for me, and tell them to leave me the freak alone.

Blanche, Um, I'm not sure where I am now. Thought I was home. Wait...
That might explain these strangers in the room. I thought they were looking at me kinda funny. Hmmm....

But, one thing he's always said is that "he'll always forgive me." (

) One should
never say that to
anyone. hehe

Temple,
I'm goin' back to Cali, back to Cali, back to Cali... hehe Sorry. That reminded me of a song. I love that song! And, no, I didn't drive by your apartment cause I would've stopped by for a quickie. What?! Did I type that out loud? Ooops.

I think you showed great restraint, considering! I would have surely inflicted bodily harm on some innocent person, or destroyed an innocent inanimate object. I hate driving anyway, so situations like that infuriate me!!

Spitfire, I'm laughing because I ended up in Vancouver, Washington once too trying to get to the airport. HAHAHA I think it was because my back was to Mount Hood.

You must drive like hell. I don't remember you driving that fast. I had maps to my own fucking apartment for two months after I moved back to Cali. Sad, but true.

I've never understood that, either, Young Miss.
I think more appropriate info for signage would be the number of inbred serial rapists that live in the drain culverts on the sides of these shithole roads, that sort of thing.

Actually, Blanche, I haven't seen the BK lately but
now they have that stupid Clucking Chicken guy doing stupid stunts. Maybe he'll ride his bike off a cliff and do us all a favor.

Sir Strat, why in the hell can they have signs that
inform you of a town's population, a mile marker every mile, and what friggin fast food restaurants are at the next exit but not the shit we REALLY NEED?! Yeah, it helps me a lot to know there's a McDonalds in the next town of BlowMeville: Population 25. Kick ass.

Azur,
He didn't speak to me the whole way home, but I said, "hehe, ya know, someday we'll look back on this and laugh..." No response. So, I said, "or not." I guess comic relief wasn't in the cards yet!

Spitfire, well, now, I wouldn't go that far, but what's wrong with being
crazy, anyway? It's highly underrrated, besides, missing freeway exits happens to everybody, doesn't it? It's just that hubby happened to waiting for a ride, so that adds an extra thrill to the situation. ps, seen any good Burger King commercials lately? I haven't, I wonder if the BK people got a clue that they are scaring small children with the creepy king.

You haven't lived in hell , Young Miss,
until you circle 285 in Atlanta -- the entire circumference of the city, some 80 miles -- because you went north instead of south to get to an exit that was in reality less than half a mile in the opposite direction. Makes you want to climb a tall tower with a long rifle.

I am sorry you had to go through all that! It must have been awful.
I know how stressful it can be. If it is any consolation, I too have felt the stress of such a situation. It just isn't any fun! I am glad you are safe and just think, it is over now and you can relax. Take care, Spitfire.

Sturgis,
I'm glad I can provide you with humor. Oh, and yeah, um, look for those signs right along the 205 South...er, North, yeah, one of those two. You'll see it. Wait, no, maybe it was along the 14. Can't tell ya which direction, but it's there somewhere, I swear.

Spitifre, I'm laughing with you, not at you, I swear
I've only been on the 205 once, on my drive down from Seattle to Eugene, so I knew you were headed to Vancouver, WA when I read your bit about missing your exit. I thought, oh, shit, 205 is the loop AROUND Portland. Oh, and yes, welcome to the states that do NOT believe in fucking highway signs.
It's like Oregon and Washington are too cheap to put up real signs, or figure signs are for losers who don't know where they're going or something, so neener, neener, we'll play with your head some more. Or, why tip off the tourists? Grr. Anyway, your photos of the Oregon coast make me SO homesick. It's a beautiful state. Enjoy.

May your next adventure on the highway be easy-peasy. I'd love to see the f'ing Vancouver sign. ROFL.
