Kooka and blogflogger, don't be strangers around her. I may lampoon and refute your ideas without mercy, but you are always welcome to share them.
The point of all this is that the lamestreamers were almost mum about this, whereas any downtick in his numbers is trumpeted far and wide.
Kooka claims Bush has never done anything beneficial for the country. Really? Seems to me that the economy alone, fueled by his tax cuts, shoots you down. Not to mention taking the fight to the terrorists.
Love that "we might have gotten this guy a few years ago." Yeah, we "might have" done a lot of things, like capturing Osama bin Hidin. But that didn't happen because Bubba refused to accept custody of him/ Second-guessing at its useless best.
Oh, and by the way, kooka, you're in great company. Unlike his predecessor, Bush refuses to govern by polls, holding instead to a clear sense of right and wrong.

Bush is still the worst president ever
And the war with Iraq is a joke and is something we can never truly win. According to you over half of this country believes that. it matter not what some one time polls say. I generally ignore the polls myself. Popular opinion does not change facts. Although I do not think a 38% approval rating is anything to be proud of.
Bush still has yet to do anything beneficial to our country. He really hard nothing to do with this death. It was the men who worked hard, risked their lives and were able to take him down. it says nothing at all about Bush. In fact if it were not for Bush taking us to Iraq, we might have gotten this guy a few years ago.

Gee - his approval is UP to 38%!!!!!
that means for every 100 people, an overwhelming 38 of them support the president and his policies! Is Rove working on demonizing the other 62 percent?????

Liberals should cry because Bush is ALL THE WAY UP TO 38%?
You've got to be kidding. He's not even out of the toilet yet as far as approval, and I should cry? With half the voting public Republican, this skyrocketing approval rating mean that only 24% of Republicans still don't support him. This gives calls for bragging rights? Spin, spin, spin....All things truly are relative, eh?
