Oregon, to the north of me, has flash flooding from a heavy downfall. Drove over the summit to California and left the rain behind. Got home to a nice cool home....Yes, I have air conditioning!

Can you get a portable swamp cooler, Symphony?
Those things work great if you get the right kind. It is not hot yet here, but it will in about a month. I feel for ya!
