I agree, I often watch anothers words and wonder what that person would be like if we were sitting face to face having coffee. Maybe we all need to meet at Blanche's coffee shop.

Ariel
Thank you very much for clearing that up. I thought it sounded odd that you would attack a belief, it didn't sound alot like you. Passion and Janes, I do hope you will give Ariel a chance to explain what he was attempting to convey. I know from time to time, I have meant for something to come across the screen in one way and it came out the complete opposite of what I was TRYING to say.

What a wonderfully flattering post! Thank you very much.
Despite what some people may imagine, and although I am an atheist, I am a very spiritual person, and to me words are the expression of the spirit.
I do indeed love words, as I love people, life and the world about us. I can put my hand on my heart and say that I have never wittingly hurt anyone in my life. Frail? Sure, like everyone else.

In case you miss it, this is a comment that I just sent to Jane'sOpinion ...
I've just come across your comment. Did you not realise that I was sounding off about poor writing by Christians because it is disrespectful to God and to Christianity.
Far from being an attack on your religion, it was a defence of it.
Really, PassionFlower, you are being as discourteous to me as you allege that I was to you Christian bloggers. I did not say that all Christian bloogers are bad writers ; only some.
And I certainly never accused, nor even implied that anyone in here has the character defects that you accuse me of endowing them with.
You must surely be aware by now that I am unfailingly courteous and respectful to my fellow blogger, and I surely hardly need to state , for the thousandth time, that I respect Christians and their beliefs.
I suggest that you re-read my post with unbiased eyes.
I apologise unreservedly for offending you, but I must say that I have a right to put forth my opinions

I agree that Ariel has a way with words.
Passionflower, I read that same article against Christians. It was a bit disheartening at first, but then I took it as a challenge to do the best writing I possibly could, to not do something half hearted. WE may be the only contacts that non Christians have, and therefore we need to give it our best.
But that said, I know how you feel!

I always read Ariel too until a week or so ago.
He wrote something that said--I believe it was his headline -- that said Christians were all crappy writers, that we didn't possess the savvy or intelligence to write strong, literate posts.
I told him that he offended me and after that I didn't read him anymore.
