Anger and other negative feeling have a profound effect on the body. And the longer the bad feelings continue, the worse the effects. There may be a longer history of bad feeling between your relative and his wife and other aspects of his life than you may be aware of. I feel many illnesses, if not most, are far more psychosomatic than we suspect. Best of luck to your family.
