No, I have not read or heard of the book until now. I will admit that even if I had money to buy books , that would be far from the top of my list. I am behind big time in getting the books I want that I know are out there right now. I might look into seeing if the library has a copy though.
From what I saw however, that book is not fully part of what I am talking about here. that is one where they try to put the ideas together and follow the science that is out there, but also connecting it to religious ideas. That works much better than writing off all the science because you find gaps in it and so refuse to believe any of it.

Most believers have no idea how to use the weapon and end up causing themselves more damage that they do to their opponents. After all you would not hand a dog a gun and expect that he will be able to use it right.
And no, just because someone finds gaps in theories does not prove there must be a God. I could use the same logic to prove that the universe is nothing but a wad of snot caught in the nose hairs of a giant cosmic dog. That is just as believable and provable as your concept of God.
Your last line there shows you do not understand logic or reasoning in the least. You are holding the weapon and are aiming it at yourself, thinking you have your target in your sites. As soon as you pull the trigger, you end up shooting yourself in the foot.
You must limp around a lot I am guessing.

Where do believers get off using science to prove anything? It's simple. If you use the weapon of your enemies against them they don't have a weapon to use. If a believer takes science and shows the non-believer that the theory that they are expressing to the believer can not even be proved using their own science, then the end statement would be...There must be a God.

Kooka Lives, Have you read the recent release of the book
The Random Designer. This book was written by a Christian professor who teaches science at Olivet University in Illinois. You might find it insightful!

actuallly they don't
the scinetific method
- state a postulation
- seek evidence
- accept or reject on the evidence
that's mainly a synopsis on my part -- but it is pretty well the process
it's like mathematics -- or plain geometry where a hypothesis is tested by known hypotheses.
something has to be demonstrated to be valid.
I have dialogued with certain believers in creationism and intelligent design here -- and so far I have discovered that they have reached conclusions without evidence to support them.
overwhelmingly, science does support evolution rather than intelligent design.
