- Go to ROAD RAGE, IN THE PARKING LOT?
Whacky---I don't drive.
But when walking in the street, I would also get in someone's way. I might have different reactions, including the rude ones that I don't like. For the rude reaction, I mean the person obstructed gave out a sound of impatience, which is enough to reflect the bad manners of the utterer.

Yes
And my looks would kill if the driver almost caused an accident driving stupidly with my kids in the car. I can be scary when I'm mad because people are more concerned about their dam cell phones than keeping their eyes on the road.

Whacky, road rage is scary. I get frustrated with other drivers at times but there's no way it could be called rage. Those who flip into rage so easily must be having problems in all areas of their lives.

hahhahahahaa....
I only needed to honk the horn and my son, when he was about two, from the back, in his car seat, would shout, "jeessee chrise!"
I quit swearing when driving soon after....

Whacky
It's a dangerous thing to get into an argument in your vehicle, because you never know who you're dealing with. I had a scary incident happen when I first started dating my wife. She had apparently pissed this carload of blacks off somehow and they were determined to hunt her down. I was watching everything in my rearview mirror. I had a gun in the truck at the time, and I got it out and cocked it. I then cut them off, and luckily they swerved onto the interstate. I wasn't sure what was going to happen, but I'm glad no one got hurt.

What I should say is
'Nobody gets in my way,' but I would probably react like the man.

At Any Given Moment We Have No Idea Where Another is Psychologically..
Some people can deal happily with any situation, others are time bombs waiting to explode and it does not matter whether the stimulus is positive or negative, will explode. Don't take it personally and with some, it is best to walk away!! I have had that happen to me! Once at a red light, I confronted, jumped in my car and took off. I was followed for about five miles then turned into a service station with a police. The person kept going. I learned then to ignore in the future when I can.

I would act like the man. I'm a very patient driver but I must admit that my children and grandkids have pointed out that I only curse while driving.
I am glad you are alright!

Just to clarify
YOu can usually tell those who parked without seeing another car and those who decide to play chicken for the spot. My issue are with those that are AGGRESSIVE. We all make mistakes or don't see someone else waiting, but to INTENTIONALLY cut someone off, makes me crazy!

I tend to have few patience for idiots with vehicles
I have seen so many accidents caused by someone who just HAD to cut me off at the gas pump or parking lot that I now make a point of parking waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay at the back and aim for the gas station after dark when I am usually the only patron.

I feel bad if I'm the one who did something dumb,
but I don't get mad at other people who also make mistakes...life is too short for things like road rage.

Lol...That's a good question...I can't drive, so I don't know which I'd react like. Usually, the only wheels I have to deal with are the ones on my chair and most of the time people are polite enough to either steer clear of me completely or move far enough to let me pass.
That's scary though, huh?

Whacky,
I'm not sure. It depends. I hope you looked before backing out. I just thought of Kathy Bates in Fried Green Tomatoes, when she backed her car into the two smart mouthed chicks who had mocked her earlier and said, "Face it, girls, I'm older and better insured". Great moment in film there, and very satisfying, I'm sure.
