Yikes!
Still working on that. Don't worry -- I'm about to give up and just send you the originals. Look for a couple of discs in a mailbox near you!

What a wonderful, inspiring comment!!! Thank you so very, very much! I'll treasure that one forever and really appreciate that you took the time to phrase it so specifically. .....so I know what I did right. Now, do definitely try the cherry vodka......and, have some chocolate close by.....really good stuff......have it when you are in the mood to really treat yourself and feel it.

Actually, I seem to have reached an age where alcohol does the stimulant thing....it really does keep me awake.....or, if I go to sleep, I'll wake up and can't go back! Drives me crazy and almost messes up my enjoyment of drinking!

For some strange reason...
I feel the need for a chocolate sundae with a cherry... great evocative description... :)

Hey, Krisles...I've actually had cherry vodka...lol...
It is sweet and strong, and that chocolate sent you to dizzying heights, no less.....Glad to see you basking in the solace and peaceful goodness of the lake....I like these lake posts by you. Wonderful!

Were I a composition teacher...
I would use this piece as an illustration of how to convey a feeling, a setting and how to take your reader into your imagery. A masterful use of words. Now, I wish I had some Cherry Vodka.

Gosh! I bet you are one tired lady...
One shot of that vodka and I'd be out like a light. At least you'll sleep well.
