You just refuse to see Bush for what he is.

Go and look at what he said and when he said and how he did nothing at all to follow up on it.  It was all just B.S. to win votes.  He helped get NASA some extra money at the time, then just walked away from it all without another word said.  This was BEFORE the hurricanes.

I do not hate Bush, since I am not a person who hates.  I just see him for what he is and am very much away of the games he has played and B.S. he has used to trick people.  This really is how he has won every election he has won, from his bid for Governor of Texas to his reelection as president.  He is a person you can not trust in the least.

No, I do not hate him.  I am just aware that he is the worst president this country has seen and stands against everything that is good and right for America.  He does not care at all about this country and is willing to destroy our freedoms and bring down our economy for his own personal gain.  It is not hate, just honesty.

You are defending a proven liar.  A man who should not be trusted by anyone in the least.  You defend his lies and give excuses to his selfish actions that only serve to hurt the innocent people of this country.  It is just sad tat so many other are doing the same.

OK, and what year did those hurricanes hit?

And how appropriate would it have been to talk about space exploration while there are people still waiting to get into a new house?

I'm not lost, Kooka.  Judging from the never ending vitriol dripping from your mouth when the subject of your writing is the President, I'd say you're the one who is pretty well lost in a never ending fixation of hatred.  I, at the very least, have clearly stated when I do not agree with him and have openly disagreed with the general Republican stance on a variety of issues, including Iraq.

Well, he made those remarks AFTER 9/11, AFTER he started his pointless war with Iraq.   He knew what he was doing. It was all part of gaining votes in 2004, nothing more.

The whole idea has vanished just as suddenly as it appeared.  He used as he needed to and now can move on.  That is as clear as it gets.  He has not talked about it since and has given no reason as to why he has not followed through.

You really are so lost that you are unable to see the kind of games this man plays.

Good grief, Kooka.

Did you ever stop and think that perhaps he really does want more lunar exploration, but is practical enough to realize that there are more expensive and pressing matters at the moment for which federal dollars must be used?  I would bet that he would be pushing for space exploration just a wee bit more were it not for the quagmire in Iraq, the massively expensive hurricane disasters, the increasing expenses of securing our borders or heck, even 9/11.  I'd say he was flagrantly misusing money at this time if he chose to increase funding for space.  Perhaps down the road it would be appropriate, but certainly not now.

Hello . . . earth to Kooka!
