I will probably vote Democratic this go around. Clinton's behavior really was embarrassing, which is why Bush got in so easily. There are no perfect presidents, but a change is necessary.

I hope it will do good to America...

If I have a high self-esteem, I am not worried about
the "correctness" of the decision I make at every step of my life.

I can think of mistakes I have made over and again, some of which persist until this very day. Sometimes, I feel that I've overcome them, and other times I need be reminded.

Sometimes I have made the same mistake until I learned the lesson.

avant-garde, I definitely have made and continue to make my share of mistakes.   I learn from them faster now than I did when I was young.  I also face up to them more quickly and try to correct or make amends.   Years and the fast passing of time and the losing of loved ones as I get older helps one realize how important that is.

Avant-Garde,
Even if I'd rather be happy than right, sometimes to be happy I need to enforce my rights.

Yes, I think it's time for a democrat. People are just fed up with conservatives.

We are. Thank you. It is so hot here today! 90 degrees. And, to think that I grew up where it was easily 100 by this time of the year.

Hi Avant......

Some say there is never a bad situation, a bad decision, or a mistake in our life, if we learn and grow from it.  I agree. Hope you had a good weekend and everyone is well.

I've made many 'mistakes', but I've only recently realized how invaluable they are. Instead of a source of shame, they are a source of wisdom.

This is a some very good food for thought.  All too often we kick ourselves from mistakes, but maybe if we simply look at them as valuable lessons we may just find some worth in them.
