Glad to hear you are doing well and I hope the recovery is a full one. For me, work on my right knee/leg will probably not happen because of the nerve damage I have. I follow the Science and Medical Journals with some devotion. Medical Advances are simply amazing. My mother-in-law has new eyes and a new right hip. My own mother has two new knees. For myself I continue to hope the medical researchers will finally find a way to regenerate damaged nerve tissue, they are working on it.

I find it fascinating how the science fiction of the 40-70's is quickly becomming commonplace technology today.

God Bless

White-cossack,

Thanks for visiting and your comments! I am confused how my opinion is raised to the level of a rant! You left some very well crafted comments that I feel are a bit too slanted to media hype. No one knows how many human souls were lost in the two bombing campaigns against Iraqi humanity! Both were unnecessary and, I think, acts of cowardice by a powerful Military Industrial Complex!

Soldiers are conditioned and trained to accept their mission without question the orders. But after Mai Lai, American soldiers are required by the UCMJ to refuse "unlawful" orders! Or did they change that too?? It is tragic that men are being killed and maimed in Iraq while killing and maiming Iraqis because of the ranting of a madman!

The Bush, Cheney, Thatcher, and Blair Families have long ago filled their quota of dead bodies! They will not be allowed to ride off into the sunset and have a future on this Planet

Total Hip Replacement
Took 7 mos. for me to get it. Now in 3rd month of recovery, doing fine. You've described the Volunteer (given without compensation) Vet's,  perfectly and the Medical Staff.
