Has it been forever?  Or does it just seem that way?  Thanks so much for the lovely words, and of course for reading and leaving a footprint.  It's nice to see you again.

My ending, eh?  Wow, thank you.  I sometimes have problems there.  More in stories for the paper, but I'm glad you like them.  I've missed your words, too.  I'm just coming back around, but I have so much going on I don't know if it's for good.  Hope you are well.  xow

Bell Keeper
It was a very powerful piece, very, for me to write.  Very personal.  Sometimes you can't take away the pain, so you love someone through it, show you understand and you don't judge.  This poem, I'm proud to say, was printed out and taken to Camp Pendleton for other Marines to see who were touched by my emotion and understanding.  To me, this is a deeply profound honor.  My heart still lives in this place because it is a long road, but some of the weight has lifted now that we can really talk about the dark and the light and I don't flee.  The war has effects on men people don't know, not unless the veteran they know can communicate it well.  It's a profound and weighty lesson to me.  I'm glad you liked it.  It's so nice to see you, and that you now among the living.

Sturgis! Masky! It's so nice to see you here again!
I'm a bit tardy in responding to comments, but I've been so loopy and busy and out of touch here.  I'm glad you liked it.   Blessings to you also.  Hope you are well.
