Passion ... sometimes?

LMAO...Yes indeed Madem-
I think sometimes your creative brilliance is under-rated.

I appreciate you saying that, Burly ...
Occasionally, being pressed for time works to one's creative advantage.

Thank you so much, Original ...
The drawings really do add a great deal to the story, don't they?

Thank you very much, Mary ...

As with the vast majority of students in my school, Thomas ...
I tend to be a nonconformist.

Thank you, fourcats. I appreciate you saying that.

Well, Rumored, it was awfully windy yesterday.

Yes, Passion, I feel I really captured the extreme emotional pain we were all feeling at the time.

I'm glad to see that you are free and bold-not controlled with borders and rules.

I haven't seen Anguish like that on people's faces in a long time!
It was frightening!!! I just hope I can recover too.

Twombley is considered among the first of the great graffiti artists, btw.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 26, 2006 at 2:22 PM | link to this | reply

He's still alive and painting, Talion ...

I would guess he's in his mid-seventies by now.

And a multi-multi-millionaire.

Mademoiselle
How old was he at the height of his skill? Six? Seven? This is a sure sign that patrons of the arts sometimes have more cents than sense.

posted by Talion on May 26, 2006 at 2:11 PM | link to this | reply

He actually has a entire room in the Philadelphia Museum of Art permanently devoted to his "work" , Talion ...

Plus a whole museum in Virginia.

Mademoiselle

You got me on that one. I had to look him up and stumbled upon one of his "works." The last time I saw a picture like this, it was hanging on a refrigerator under a magnet.

No one will buy you're his daughter. You're too talented.

posted by Talion on May 26, 2006 at 1:54 PM | link to this | reply

Or, Talion, I could just leave them as they are ...

and claim I'm Cy Twombley's daughter.

How's that for an obscure reference?

posted by Mademoiselle on May 26, 2006 at 1:47 PM | link to this | reply

Throw in some floppy clocks and a couple soup cans and you'll have a series of masterpieces.

posted by Talion on May 26, 2006 at 1:38 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, and the answer is ...
my left foot.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 26, 2006 at 1:29 PM | link to this | reply

That's a good one, Ben ...
My mother says this post confirms her suspicion that I have finally lost all grasp on reality.

Are those drawn with the other hand or toes? They are cute.
