something
has to beneath us
and somebody has to be an enemy
that's the main undelrying thing here.

it's not marriage that's being threatened -- it's the idea that marriage coul be be outsiede what most consider the norm.  people aren't accustomed to something that is a drastic departure.

then the Middle East -- underlying cause:  the British dividing up of the countries after WWI.  the U.S. support for the status quo for the U.S. (but pretty well opposed by the indigenous peoples).

yes -- some outsider feeling that they knkow what's best for those who reside there.

yes -- too much interfering with other people's lives when there's so much to worry about within one's own life.

take care of the beam in your own eye, stupid.

Homegirl
If the homosexual community was given a reason to settle in to long term relationships, they would.  Part of the reason they do not (Although most homosexuals I have known have, not all but most) is because our society discourages them from doing such.  We treat the sleeping around by homosexuals as the norm and so it becomes such.  I know so many heterosexual people who have had several dozen sex partners in their lives ( we are talking people who were not even twenty yet) and I can only think of one homosexual I know who has such.

That is not the true issue, just a justification some people choose to use to back up their ideas of way we should not allow a segment of our population certain rights.

I hear ya, but...

The problem is that marriage is not taken seriosly anymore as a whole.... eventually as a society it will mean nothing eighter.

Statistically, the homosexual group change partners like I change my underwear... (yes, often)!
