Mountain

Hust in here for a few minutes. I find echoes of our lives in your post.

We've been married for 36 years too, and Lady Ariela had breast cancer, necessitating a mastectomy fifteen years ago.

We moved to Spain almost six years ago, when I was 69. New life ; new wonders ; new things to write about. And a wonderful new set of friends, both within and without Blogit.

I wish you all good luck!

As long as you're moving
you could go north -- like British Columbia or northern Washington where the sun's rays are not as strong and where it's cloudy or raining much of the time. The country is beautiful, the climate is mild, and gardens grow like crazy. Between October and April you don't get enough sun to absorb your required amount of Vitamin D....  It's just a thought.  Best of health to you both. :)
