Re: Dear Benzinha from Azur,

So glad that you are out and about and doing things. I am a recluse, housecleaning and not much else. Giving away most of my possessions, tired of owning too much, American style.

I grow lighter and happier as the house empties. Going for that CONVENT look, bed, dresser, desk, chair and cross on the wall. Oh and that pound look with the three dogs.

Happiest of New Years to you and to all of your dear ones.

Dear Benzinha
I chose here, this post in support of writers, and good writing, and reading to wish you all the best for 2008. I am already there in the future. This morning a picnic was planned but fairweather friends have cancelled due to a little rain and wind. It is has been raining for a week and we have gales - I am not sure why they feel we must stop everything. Smile. Anyway, I am going to spend the time I would have spent with them with other friends, the people in my story. I will write. So thank you to my friends for being put off by the rain.

I wish you good health, big creativity and things to smile about in 2008. See you there in a few hours.

I buy nearly all my books second hand off the internet....
...this is great, but of course then I am always looking for somewhere to put them and running out of shelves. Don't get much time to read them as I spend any spare time mostly gardening or writing. Then of course they add to all the collected stuff I have already around. But the best answer to this is to take it to the charity shop (where they often have come from to begin with). Those shops are one of the best ideas ever!

I really enjoyed the movie, "The Mighty",
which is based on the book Freak the Mighty.  It's a really good story.  Thanks for reminding me of that.  :)
