Whacky
It came a big hailstorm where I work the other night. There were leaves all in the road yesterday.

ooh...
windy nights like that are scary. Living in Ill., those windy spring and summer nights made me a nervous wreck. Glad everything was good, though. Pamper those roses!

Wind is really
good to blow all the trash out of your own yard into your neighbours. (Bet your neighbours are happy.) Luckily we don't get major gale force winds here so we don't mind so much. The summer Berg winds are awful 'cos they're hot but the winter ones let you know when there is snow on the mountains.

It's an inexpensive and efficient way of generating sustainable energy ...
Plus without it, wind chimes would be rendered pretty much useless.

I hate those strong winds, especially at night.

I get lots of dust with the wind. Lol. Other than for drying laundry & kite flying, I don't like strong winds.

Yes, my dear, the wind is a good thing-
Too much of anything, no matter how good, is bad though. You'll get things fixed back in no time. At least you don't live in Maine, Mass, or NH...these cities are having their worst flood in 70 years. Water running down the streets like a river. Dams threatening to break.
Oh Boy! I'm going back to work!!!
