My mom calls this sort of thing "Family Banter."
It's not that familiarity breeds contempt. It's that bond and that lvoe that makes it easier to be a little negative at times. We don't mean to be, it's just that somehow everyone knows that the occasional acting out won't be taken personally.

I'm glad that despite the way she is "acting out," you guys have a bond and clear understanding of one another and you can love each other even when it's hard. I know this is a difficult time for you both. You're a good daughter.
