I agree with your point of view, Azur. When life is happening to me, I decide which way to portray it to others.

Someone once answered, when asked if they were sure, "Yes".
"I may be wrong...but I'm certain".
Nonfiction doesn't mean correct to the facts, it means you didn't imagine it. The degree of trustworthiness lies in cross-checking and the quality of sources.
What's a pain is when you imagine it, and it's true.
And if we misconstrue your post, it's maybe half our fault?

Azur,
I went back to read the post you were referring to. I don't think that there is anything frivolous about being concerned about how you interact with your husband and how it affects your work. My relationship with Gideon is the mainstay of my life, I need to know that we are okay and we work to make sure that we are.
I agree that the truth is a multi-faceted gem. I've gotten very tired of sweeping generalizations, in the media, on Blogit and elsewhere. I mean, very few of us know enough about each other to make such sweeping generalizations.

Good post...I find the same thing is true when I'm writing...the
truth you decide to focus in on varies from day to day.

Hello
"The truth has many faces" - I agree, the truth is complex - you must look at a problem from many points of view - to understand it fully and separate the objective truth from speculations.

You have to believe it for it to be true. Really.
