Whacky, Keep looking!

Whacky, I have always loved buttons.   My Mom started me on that interest with her button box.   I do have the same problem as you though as to sewing on buttons that have come off.   LOL

sorry, couldn't help but to laugh!
I'll go with the theory that aliens have snatched your button to go with the button attacher they snatched earlier!!!

My collection of buttons looked exactly like your photo until i used them
to fill beautiful antique glass jars. most of my buttons remind me of people, places and clothes with fond memories.

Whacky
You are more patient than I am. I'd just pitch the shirt.

Whacky
I have a tin of buttons that I just love playing with.  There are tons of them in there.  I wish you me and Azur could play together!

Hi, Whacky,
I say keep looking.  It must be in there somewhere.  If not, it's gone the way of the missing socks, also abducted by aliens.  :)  Great looking collection, by the way.  Thanks.  :)

Button tins are the best
to browse through but not for finding buttons when you need them

Wow, Whacky, those are alot of buttons!
I'd buy new ones though.

buy new ones, Whacky.  Sod's law says you will never, ever, find the one you want - until after you buy a replacement

Buy new ones and replace them,
I also keep all the spare buttons that come with the tops but can never find them when I need them. What are the chances of you finding a matching button amongst all those?

Definitely, keep looking!
I also save buttons. I love them. If you cannot find the one you are looking for, find several that match and put those on the garment instead. Good luck!

Gone wild with buttons...and not even button mushrooms. Lol. 10 clicks are here for your contribution. Thanks.

Buy and replace? You could get those boxes with multiple separators to sort out colors and keep them apart.

I love cans of buttons. Also, cans of marbles.
