That's one advantage and disadvantage of

having a class fulltime! They either drive you completely nuts for the whole year OR you get the satisfaction of taming the wild beasts so to speak! I have a great class this year and had an absolute horror the year before last!

I was talking to my boyfriend last night about his experience as a substitute teacher many years ago. He was an unpaid volunteer, so he really felt that he didn''t need any attitude from the kids. It does not bode well for us as a country that there is so little respect for teachers. I hope your next assignment goes better.

My mother used to 'substitute' when me and my siblings were growing up and I always remember mother coming home so tired and on the verge of tears. I always had respect for my teachers substitute or not.
