I must say that I like women to have nice classical names ; my wife's is Diana. I like your blog too ( which I've just discovered ) As to what one paints with words, I believe in the Duke of Wellington's " Publish and be damned!"
I write whatever I feel like ; whatever the mood distates, and what the hell, I think later that it's silly, or I could have written it better? I've never deleted a post, 'cos I think it's .. well, sort of dishonest. One has to stand by what one writes, or where's one's integrity?
What I have noticed a lot is how so many people are diffident, timid, afraid of what others might think. You know what I mean?
I think maybe I'll do a post on this soon ( I hate the word 'entry' ), pointing out something like hey, what's to be afraid of, eh? We aren't stern editors or picky publishers, are we? We're just ordinary people.
I wish you a belated welcome to Blogit.

My paint is always brighter when I don't choose and plan what to write.

I Like My NickName
Too much I wish I was born 8-ball instead of my real name.

I think we can paint many different canvasses
I think some work should stay out for a while and some like my school art should be relegated to the back of the garage or even the dump

I don't try to cover who I am, who I was, and who I hope to be...it's my
way of painting reality.

Good post.

Well, I looked for my friend and I found her - Surprise!
I've been away for a while, it's not that I've forgotten you. I've been in the hospital (got a new knee) and then a 2-week bout with pneumonia. So, I'm catching up and I've found you, Julia, and I'm so glad. I shall stay tuned in because I've always liked your writing and I've got two furbies we've never talked about. I really haven't gotten to play with them much - should have taken them with me to the hospital, huh? haha
So, I hope you are well, all settled down, and how's your cats? Talk to you later.

Julia.
The image is the same. I've only been here two years. Not much can change in such a sort period without some sort of traumatic experience. Luckily, I haven't had one. However, the way I paint, so to speak, has definitely changed. My writing is better now than ever before. The novel is progressing (slowly), and even my journal posts have developed a distinctive style. I too like the picture that's emerging.
