I think they are wonderful, Whacky. A friend gave me the DVD of- The March of the Penguins - yesterday, and all he raved about were the special features. I must watch them tonight after the Senators are put out of the PlayOffs

I never watch the special features. Maybe deleted scenes, but that's about it. Most of them aren't worth the trouble, much ado about nothing.

Yes I thing homage is often a euphemism for ripping off an idea
It is one of those words I always think of and say in a French accent. I know it sounds French even if I am not sure it is. But at least the work of others is acknowledged when they pay homage. I too love all the extras on DVD

My kids love "Jack Jack Attack" on the Incredibles DVD.
My husband and I enjoyed the alternate scenes.

I rarely watch movies.
I enjoy Survivor, the Amazing Race and Deal or no Deal. That's about it.

I love the special features on DVDs!! Well, most of them anyway. Most of my British comedy DVDs have really awesome bonus materials included...Haven't seen CHICKEN LITTLE yet...Any good?
