Hi there, Nanaroo...Those are indeed tough times....but great...
That your mom can spend time with you and talk, etc. Not easy to lose friends we cherish or brace for a terrible illness, etc.

thanks!! I finally had a chance to meet this gentleman over Easter and boy, he is so cool! I can see why Mom liked him- although for the past two years, she kept the relationship kind of under wraps, out of courtesy to our Dad, who died suddenly of a heart attack in 1999. (They had been married for over 55 years).
