Hi ya, Maggie-
Don't you worry. Jay and I are doing fine. He's more in touch with my feelings and Mike is NOT an elephant in the room. So relax and just sit back and enjoy my telling the love story of 2005.

Hi Brettnik-
Thanks for coming by! I hope my story carries that idea. It all happened the way it did and when we tried to "color outside the lines," we got pulled back good 'n hard. Now I can tell the good parts, which were magic; spiritual, and utterly romantic.

hi Cunni-
Thanks for the positive comment! When you find your guru, put in a few "ohms" for me, OK? I am definitely with you in what will be will be. I can even hear the dulcet notes of Doris Day.

Oh, the tiny little decisions which haunt us. I'm in the
"everything happens for a reason" camp so I think that it's likely that Jay is who you were supposed to be with, if there is such a thing as supposed to be.

I know it sounds Pollyanna, but I believe things unfold as they're supposed to. I don't exactly believe in destiny or fate, but maybe the outcome our higher selves would prefer trumps the limited earthbound perspective. Sheesh, that sounds obnoxious. It's back to guru school for me.
Nicely written, Cee.

Qween-
I will head for Cindy's story next time I hit a B&N. We lived a fairy tale, and that's why it ended so abruptly. I believe it never was to have been more than it was; we were pushing the envelope when we were supposed to stop. Mike had the epiphany the night before I arrived for what was our last wonderful meeting...if we'd only known it was goodbye...... but it was perfect and we had so many signs then, too. I have to remember him with a joy, not any regrets. Nor do I regret my life now. It is as it is supposed to be!
My son reminded me of how important family is and has been to him...
Thanks for encouraging me! I will tell the lovely part of my fairy tale now -- wave my magic wand and.........
"someday, my prince will come........"
mine did.
Love,
Cee

Cee ~
Yours was a beautiful reconnection when so many others have never even had the chance at a reconnection. Yours has been a fairy tale in so many respects, I think many live vicariously through your stories here.............but even the story of Cinderella has a different ending now.......swear....... go to the children section in B&N and take a look for yourself! Sooo you've had the best of should-a ~would-a could-a.
