franciscan - you may want to do yourself a favour in the future

and drop the gibberish when attempting to converse with me.  Angels and demons are part of your delusion, not mine. I thought I made it clear from the beginning with you that I will not support your delusional meanderings? Even when you attempt to demonstrate the conviction with which you hold these nonsensical beliefs, they are at the end of the day, still just layers of nonsense. Manmade fabrications that you are struggling to reconcile with reality.

For example; there is no conceivable connection between a tsunami and mankind's free will that you imply has become some kind of paramount directive of your mythical God. Yet you come up with this as a contention "He doesn't control all that happens. He could if  He wanted to. He gave us free will.........". Then to further demonstrate that you are out on a day pass, you present us with this: "Tsunami's etc.  WE'RE probably responsible because we didn't pray for the "suspension of the natural law" as the Virgin Mary says."

I simply don't have time deprogram you, your bible lobotomy may be irreversible. If you want to converse with me in any meaningful way you are going to have to realize and accept a few facts.  Every bit of gibbled nonsense that you are trying to use as some form of contention, I have been exposed to countless times before. I have no desire to relive something so pathetically crude as the inconsistancies of any Christian religion let alone catholicism. Dead prophets, virgin conception, angels, demons and the rest . . listen to yourself man.

There's a straight jacket with your name on it somewhere.

The coffee is good

 1. Believers are [obviously] smelling the coffee. It's YOUR sense of smell that needs tweaking.

2. He doesn't control all that happens. He could if  He wanted to. He gave us free will. Angels were given it also. Some became demons.  Humans have it. We love, we hate, create etc. He doesn't control your blogging comments.

3. Time didn't start with mankind. As far as we know it started earlier like [apparently] when God created the universe.

4. Not each group insists they're on the right path. Better might be a better word.

5. "Straightening things out". He gave us free will so why He want to intervene when we can learn and grow ourselves by being more loving and understanding. A parent shouldn't intervene in a situation when the child needs to experience the difficulty of a situation so he/she can grow.

6. Tsunami's etc.  WE'RE probably responsible because we didn't pray for the "suspension of the natural law" as the Virgin Mary says.

7. Since God created the laws of physics certainly He can rise above them by giving us miracles. He still does, by the way.

Xeno-x -- and not so surprisingly, there seems to be no one offering

anything in the way of an answer to these simple questions.

Instead we are treated to comments such as the one following yours. Attack the person asking such questions . . . but never attempt to answer the questions.

Passionflower - why don't you just get lost and stay lost?
You've left me a handful of comments over your time on Blogit. Each and every one of them containing either an insult or dripping with disdain. Have you noticed that I do not comment on your postings? Would you be prepared for my opinion of you? How about if I come back a few times to restate that opinion?

People who are earnestly searching for the Truth
Will find it. And people like you who only want to stir up strife will always live in confusion. One of the laws of life and the universe is that you reap what you sow.

you ask the questions
about how their god can allow certain indiscretions
or not intervene when bad things happen to good people.
they usually say, "Just have faith."
they created an impossible god and expect people to have blind faith in it.
