Malcolm,
I hope you are well and writing somewhere. How many of us yearn for that?

I once had my students right about turning point in their lives
for a graduation ceremony. though they were only 13, they had definite moments which changed everything for them forever. I'm sure each of us has several of these.

I agree with Azur. It's about priorities. Right now, I'm focused solely on our move and making it work financially. But, soon I'm sure, I'll be back on working a book with renewed determination.

What if that moment never comes?
I think it will come if it is meant and if we want it enough

I Keep Thinking of Writing a Book, Yet I Keep Telling Myself No
I have come up with many excuses such too many with the same ideas are out there, I am not a writer, it will take too much time and I am a doer, etc. I like to write in here, what is the difference in just sitting down and doing it!! Nice post!

Malcolm,
I'll look for this one. For myself, I had always yearned for a breakthrough, a turning point or tipping point as you put it, a sort of unification of heart, mind, and spirit. It's too bad, that as in this author's case, it takes a cataclysm to accomplish that. Hopefully, that is not always the case.
