I remember some Canadian athletes complained during the Olympics when they asked why the disabled athletes couldn't come out with them during opening and closing ceremonies. Of course it's a no no but it just shows how far back both are first world countries are with people with disabilities. My Mom is in a wheelchair and I can't even take her shopping in my town because there is no wheelchair ramps it's all stairs to get in the stores and the sidewalks all have curbs so I have to take her on the road. What year is this?????? It's time people realize this because if they ever find them in that situation I'm sure their point of view would change. 8-ball's Shot.
