My objective is not to bewilder, but remove obstructions through reflection. Sometimes, words impair that process.

Words fail me sometimes, Avant-Garde, but I am still compelled to try

Avant-Garde,
Every time that I try to find a word or a name to sum up a thing for a poem, I come up against the limitations of the word.  At best, I can catch a fragrance, but I am also very aware of what that word does not say.  My mind reels when I try to name God, only my senses catch a whiff of divinity,. my heart releases and find freedom in silence.

Avant – very, very good; name and form are useful if they lead us to the Real. Samhain_Moon

We are divided by a screen of knowledge, purportedly there to bring us together.

Avant -
I've often thought about the fact that names, any names, automatically separate us - from ourselves, from each other, from the Divine. It is that separation that creates the chaos of the mind.

Whatever came to your mind when you read it is what I intended. Thanks for the read.

two names
I think that our cat is developing  an identity crisis.  My wife calls her "Priscilla" and I call her "Puddance".  I don't know if this is consistent with the main idea of your post, but this is what came to mind when I read it.
