And hats. Don't forget hats.
Oh, looky, special effects!
As I was saying, if you start a slave sweatshop, they have to make their own way.
Start your own label..."Slave Sweats"!

I've had similar thoughts...
if I ever got rich...to develop a little housing community and give free rent as an incentive to my friends and relatives to move close by. Might not work though...that gate and key idea may be what it really takes.

telynor, if I'd just remember to buy the darned things....I forget daily.
I must not really want to win then, huh?
I think that if the gods want me to win, then someone will buy me a ticket or buy one in my name and then share....

I like your dream, Abuelita. And why not? As long as you're not dipping into the mortgage or food money, a little bit on the lottery won't hurt.

Good plan I guess but if I won
I'd buy a little haven away from all the family and I would take only one to two people at a time and we would swim along a cote d'azur and eat and drink well and watch fave movies and relax in hammocks and doze off as we read books. Would you like to join me sometime?
P.S. I emailed you but I am not sure if it was the best address

It's fun to daydream isn't it?
I never win...of course it might help to buy a ticket.

Mademoiselle, thanks for the links. read and then read comments. fun....
Your mother sounds very aggravating and this makes me so glad that my mother never was and never is. I would not play games with a mom like yours....I would avoid all activities which make me want to throttle her and I just might move three continents away, if other things kept bothering me.
My mom, She is a Saint that we sisters all try to emulate. We used to accuse her of staying up on a cross and only coming down to banish our sins away, etc.
She says that it is an impossibility (to reach her level of acceptance and belovedness by strangers) which makes her laugh in a demoniacal way, actually, now that she is very old and more honest. She is beloved by all who meet her and I wonder just what she does. Makes me cuckoo, as I cannot get up to that level no matter what I try...
So, for mental health, I have given up trying. I feel better now.
Your readers often appear to have a sense of humor like yours and that made the comments a fun read. Thanks again. I'm going to bed to have a recurring dream, maybe....but, I rarely dream, so it's difficult for any to re-occur.

I'll save you the trouble of searching ...

Mademoiselle, I don't really buy them either, sigh......
but If I Did, I would like to buy that island, too. I would definitely put Mom on there, tho' as I like my mommy muchissimo.
But, I don't know how I feel about everyone else. Keeping the world out, except for invited guests, would be my goal. Maybe one boat pier for casual passersby, but they would be kept in a restricted area away from me and mine, unless invited further into the place....
Guess I have to read your blog posts to find out what Mommy did to you, but I am so sorry that she did whatever it was. If you are young, this will pass and you will forgive her flawed humanity, but if you are older, then, I am so very sorry for you both, so very sorry.
It is easy to mess up the job of mothering, I know, I did it.....they have almost all forgiven me, but not quite yet as they are just learning about parenting themselves and are just beginning to screw up themselves....I await the passage of time.
Thanks for reading and writing here.

That's quite a vision you have ...
I don't really buy lottery tickets, however, if I did ... it would be so I could have the money to purchase a small tropical island. One that was far, far away from my mother.
