Frankewnkitty has a point...some categories are too restrictive.
But that's why we can start new logs at will, no?
I ran into that blogging about blogging, no rocket science and no new breakthroughs. That' why my newest blog is self-proclaimed/self-limited, I don't want to have to reheat the hash with kethcup to make it seem like it isn't leftovers...again.

I really don't mind what category you're in. Though, I do think they could
do with a hyphen in this particular category. Tangentially, the hyphen interests me. Its usage changes over time. If you read Victorian literature, words that were being compounded then are now singular words in their own right.
Anyway, good on you with your neighbour and I hope you get well for your friend's visit.

I didn't notice the name change, as your blogs appear under 'favorites.' I first started writing on Blogit under 'Humor,' but quickly changed to 'Everything Else' as not every blog was funny. Good luck with the change of name and attitude.

Azur,
Well, it makes sense to me! But, sorry you have the flu. That sucks. Hope you feel better by Friday!

P.S.
Do not blog in the morning with an empty head! About your writing blog, it was interesting but I'd imagine that it would be a little boring for considering that you are an editor. Whilst any advice is appreciated, you also need to tailor your blog to your needs. I'm looking forward to a new blog.

Hi Azur
First of all, thanks for the page view. Now, get yourself better fast. I once started getting flu about three days before a 5km relay walk. (Yes - I can walk 5km) Anyway, the guy at the health shop gave me tablets that were highly concentrated zinc and also vitamin c tablets. I was better in time for the race. Otherwise, I've always found barley green capsules are quite good.

Then we can post them and compare....but really, you taking vitamins and staying on top of that stuff that got you down so many years ago??? Prayerful moments here for all fellow bloggers, their health and flying fingers.....

The flu sucks!
I hope you feel better. Did Oprah call you up and yell at you or something? I have a love hate relationship with categories. Sometimes categories are good, like expiration dates on food. You surely don't want to buy bad meat, so a little warning helps. But in a blog, the catorgories of Opinion, Journal, and Non-fiction overlap. It's like carmel milkshake, chocolate milkshake, and banana milkshake. All of them sound good to me. Take care

I have a little bit of trouble with categories of writing. My blog in relationships gets slighted because I feel like I always have to write about people there. I guess not though. I guess I could just write about my relationship to the moon or something. LOL
