Me, too. How can it be 'beyond' when it is a product of my imagination?

When I was younger I claimed
"I would not want to go to heaven anyway. It would be boring it nothing bad ever happened..."  Sort of similar, but I have gone off with a completely different view of "the great beyond" by now anyway...

Darkness has many things to reveal. Thanks and I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. I feel better, too.

avant--

I've missed you.

The first part reminds me of what they say about blind people, that because they do not have sight, every other sense is heightened. I imagine it's the same, being in the dark...and being attuned to everything else more acutely.

I'm laughing here remembering an episode of me as a child with a Chinese finger trap.

..turn on the light of truth.. and gently untie the knots...

So pulling on that rope isn't going to get the knot out?

Avant -
Excellent post! There must be darkness before there can be light. One must endure that darkness before one can appreciate the light.

One of your best yet I'd say.
