FW, quite right, there was considerable opposition amongst the Latinos. I think they realized that the boycott would do more harm than good to the cause of the illegals. However, Wall Street has always been an indicator of overall economic health and activity.

what is your point???
I don't think the latin community was fully behind the boycott because the group is not monolithic. i think certain industries were affected in different parts of the country. regardless, i doubt many americans on main street base the health and well-being of the good ol USA by what happens on Wall Street.
