It Dosen't Matter,
You love him as a son and that's all you need to care about. Take Care of him and yourself and enjoy life because it can seem so short at times. 8-ball.

No, I guess you never will. Any more that I shall lose the members of my family who've been killed, or died from natural causes ; apart from the two I mentioned.
I'll be 75 in a couple of months, and I must say that age does bring a certain tranquillity and a philosophical attitude to the 'slings and arrows of outrageous fortune'.

I know exactly how you feel. Somewhere in the world is a niece that I've never met ; never even seen. She's the daughter of my eldest sister, who died just before WW2.
I've also got a daughter by my first wife, from whom I am completely estranged. But life goes on, and I have three stepsons whom I love as my own sons, and who love me as a father, and a daughter by Lady Ariela.
I count my blessings, and try not to think of what's lost ; what might have been
