Oh I do hope you won't leave Blogit luv. It would be like losing a special part of the family. Thanks for the tip on adding the 'dot' to my name.

Julia.

Avoiding a predicament like this is one of the reasons why I turned down all opportunities that would've taken me away from Memphis. Queen V's parents are in Birmingham, Alabama and though I've never mentioned anything to her, I've wondered what would happen if one or both of her parents fell ill.

I like the name change. There was something perpetually melancholy about the former. It didn't reflect the total package.

"embrace whatever we choose and freely let the rest go"...Powerful and timely, Thank You for sharing and hoping everything works out well in your situation.

I Understand
We must do what we can, and get the most benefit out of the things we enjoy for ourselves, so that we can have the energy and desire to give to others.  Thought provoking post!!

QA
I don't why it is that we  always feel that we have to make decisions or even announce then. Just be.

Quirky
It's good to see you again, although I wouldn't fault you for leaving one bit.

"I let go easily, trusting that nothing leaves my life unless something better is coming."

I like that....if only it were so easy...

QuirkyAlone,
It is nice to read you again.  That is a very heavy decision to make, weighing everything in balance.  I hope you'll stay on Blogit, though.  Maybe it will help with whatever transition you make.  Letting go seems like not so much a sudden thing but a gradual constant decision, for me personally.

Happy Anniversary to you (tomorrow!) Also, I can imagine the difficulty in
making such a drastic decision...moving is never easy, especially if it means leaving one state to go to another.
