wow... I'm just getting to this. I'm so sorry. yes... when it rains, it
does seem to pour. I wish that wasn't true. Take care of yourself through this time... I know it can't be easy.

I've heard that superstition too
that bad things/deaths happen in threes...after the second one I am usually just like "okay let's get the third one overwith so I can stop dreading it or wondering what is next." Gee it sounds like I must do that too often from that description. LOL Of course sometimes I accept a second-rate third thing just to move on...

Things change. Quirky had a good affirmation about letting go...I suck at quoting though...

It doesn't rain but it pours. Sometimes that old superstition about threes happens but very often it doesn't.
Take care

Man, kooka, that is rough to say the least.
I'm so sorry. Damn, especially about losing a friend in their 20's of heart failure? Shit. That totally sucks. I'm so sorry for that and the early loss of your family members. Geez.

SamhainMoon, Geez,
That is CERTAINLY A LOT to deal with. I'm so sorry that happened to you and your family. No, I don't actually "believe" in the "3's" but it just seems like that's so commonplace. Blessings to your and yours.

Thanks, Blanche, he always is.
It's a hard time right now. (And I'm not in the best state of mind, to add to it all right now!)

I'm sorry you're dealing with all this, Young Miss.
They don't necessarily go in threes; it just seems that way sometimes. What happens, to use a more accurate cliche, when it rains, it pours. Everything seems to go south at the same time.
I wish you well, and send out all manner of prayers, good vibes, voodoo dances, whatever might help. Take care!

About two years ago
A good friend of mine who was just a few years younger than I, so he would have been in his late twenties, died of heart failure. That just really threw me for a loop. When ever I think about it I still just can not believe it happened.
Of course he did fall into his coma at a Metallica concert, where he was suppose to meet up with me and another friend (I had just talked to him a few hours before the concert and there is a lot more to the full story) and we just figured we had missed him.
Then last year we lost three family members (Two of who were we close to). One was my uncle who was in his forties and had cancer, the second was my mother’s cousin who was a little bit older than her, and the third was I think my mom’s uncle so he was up there in years. The last few years I have seen a lot of people I know die and it has hit me.

Spitfire, my condolences. I pray that things will lift for you. Regarding dying in '3s', my father died a few years ago after a short illness. Within in 3 weeks of his death, my sister was in a coma and 3 weeks after that she too died. Everyone in the family was eyeing each other wondering 'Who's next?' We all survived. So, '3s' are not an inviolate rule. Blessings. May all the gods and goddesses comfort you. Samhain_Moon

Spitfire,
You've got so much on your plate right now. I am very sorry to hear about your friends and your Mom. This is a lot to get hit with all at once. I hope your husband is being really sweet to you right now. Take care.

Dang girl, it never stops, does it? I had my grandma, niece, and dad, die within 3 months of each other. I was thinking the same thing, who's next?
