                    Hi, missjohn316,

Good luck to you in your relationship with this man, but please remember that your child comes first, and that you must do what's best for you and your child, whether or not the father is a part of your life.  If he wants to be a part of your lives, he will, and without any drama or second guessing.  If he wants to be a part of your child's life, and not yours, I hope you'll still let him, and without any drama or second guessing.  The child is the most important one in this relationship, but I'm sure you know that.  It's just hard to focus sometimes when your heart is in turmoil, as yours seems to be.  I hope you can work it out, but only you know if it's worth it.  Thanks for sharing your story, and for allowing me to comment.  :)

You can't wait for him to mature...

You need to take control of the situation and be strong for your child.

Keep focusing on building your own strength and confidence

Do not allow his attitudes and behaviors to determine how you feel. It is good to do that in any case. You can give your daughter a good life and all the love that she needs
