there is an item
from a way back -- permeates much thought

if a thing is thought about enough and envisioned enough, whether or not it was real before, it becomes real.

so then are people's beliefs maintaining this god?

and the fewer there are, will there be less of a god?

obversely, then, if enough people believe in a thing and envision it, then we can create our own god with as much power as the old one

so figure out the god you want and let's see what we can come up with.

creating a god in our image.

kooka_lives - it really is a catch 22
The concept of God that so many people want to insist is very real only has power in the minds of men. If the world were entirely populated with people such as yourself and I, the notion of a conscious supreme creator entity would be meaningless. But as we know, the concept of God is an integral part of the composition of the collective consciousness of our species, this being's power kept very much alive by mankind's desire for it to be so.
