it's interesting that in Australia
.. the major day of remembering those who died in the wars, Anzac Day, is actually growing each year. Extraordinary numbers of people now get up in the early hours for the dawn service. Rememberance seems to be growing rather than diminishing as time goes on.

hey Pickles
apparently Yahoo Serious is also making a Kokoda movie... that's a little hard to fathom but I'm presuming its not going to be of the same genre as Young Einstein!!!!

I found this movie difficult to describe...
It is a must see - not for the fabulous story line because it is only a snippet of what was out there and the story shown was quite disjointed but some of the scenes were fantastic. Raw human emotion, unnerving action and just pure determination and courage. The movie though, felt like a montage - a series of short films placed together. It is not going to be at the top of my must-see war movie lists but it is definitely one to see, especially for us Australians to know just that little bit more about our involvement in WW2.

We saw this on Sunday and it was great to see a packed cinema.
