Yeah, I decided long ago that the God that I believe in
does not hate anyone for any reason.... like a God should feel threatened by anything? ....

I can't wrap my mind around these conflicts, either. I know I believe in God, but I don't believe in violence in the name of God. Defending home and hearth is one thing, being the aggressor is something else. Sad.
