I don't mean to minimize the suffering in the world, which is real and constant, but I really feel over and above all that, there is still a loving entity. I have no control over the scary mess the world is in, but I am not scared anymore.

It's been a struggle for me to learn how much power ro control I exert in my immediate environemnt, whether I feel as though my contribution means nothing or it means something. If I spend too much time thinking about the state of the world, I can't even do the dishes.

I am leery of theories that explain too much, because I lived with a conspiracy nut. She had it all figured out. Eventually I realized she had no information to base all this on, it was pure speculation. I know the world does not seem to be going in a good direction, but I still focus on everyday miracles and the extraordinary power of love.

I hate our government, but love the USA
